The Normann Copenhagen Drape High Back Lounge Chair is a Simon Legald design characterised by sharp precision and soft curves. With comfort and aesthetics combined in an uncompromising form, the upholstery is “draped” around the chair giving an elegant and organic outline. Drape features a headrest and comes in a selection of leather and fabric options with a choice of steel leg finish.

Description
The Normann Copenhagen Drape High Back Lounge Chair is a from a lounge chair collection characterized by sharp precision and soft curves. The upholstery is 'draped' around the chair giving it an elegant and organic silhouette, inviting you to take advantage and rest a while. This higher version of the chair also features a headrest. With a selection of fabric and leather upholstery choices this version comes on a steel leg base - choose from black powder-coated steel or grey powder-coated steel.
Please note - this chair has been priced upholstered in one complete fabric as per the main image. However, it is also available with contrasting seat cushion and headrest fabric as per some of the other images. Please contact us for further details and pricing.

Simon Legald was born in 1986 and raised in Fløng, Denmark. He graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in the summer of 2012. During his studies, he completed an internship at Normann Copenhagen. Today, he works as a Senior Designer at Normann Copenhagen's internal design studio.

Simon Legald
Simon Legald is a graduate of The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and designs both small and large-scale products. Simon’s designs marry together craftsmanship and industry; he also likes to incorporate the techniques that are necessary for the structure of a product into the design by highlighting them visually.
Simon has designed some real classics in contemporary Scandinavian design including the block table, amp lamp and the furniture range, 'Form'. The Form range was, in fact, Legald’s dissertation project and after three years of development, it was taken into production by Normann Copenhagen. For Legald, people need to understand his designs and their functions. He keeps his plans simple and straightforward, displaying the technicalities instead of hiding them. “I try not to add any unnecessary details. I work with simplicity by highlighting the necessities instead of hiding them. It gives the product a simple and honest expression.”
