The Le Feu Fireplace is a bioethanol fireplace in various forms. This version comes on a low pedestal base so ideal for placing where you would put a fire without a traditional fireplace. It comes in various finishes.

Description
The Le Feu Dome is a Bioethanol fuuelled fireplace with this version placed on a single pedestal leg base. Le Feu fireplaces are a fantastic and easy way to bring the cosiness of a real living flame into any space without the downsides!
Key Le Feu Facts:
- No chimney needed. Running on Bioethanol Le Feu fireplaces create a clean burn, producing no smoke or soot.
- No electrical connection required
- Adjustable flame height by adjusting the lid (damper) on the fuel tank. Extinguish by closing fully.
- Burn Time of 4-6 hours on 1.5l of biotheanol, depending on how open the damper is
What Is Bioethanol Fuel?
Bioethanol is a clean, renewable fuel made from natural, plant-based materials. It’s created using organic waste from agriculture such as corn, sugarcane, wood chips and other crops - that would otherwise go unused. Through a natural fermentation process, these materials are converted into ethanol, a type of pure alcohol that provides an efficient, eco-friendly flame.
How Bioethanol Is Made
The process begins with breaking down organic biomass into pulp using heat and steam. Enzymes then transform plant cellulose into natural sugars, which are fermented with yeast to produce ethanol. The ethanol is carefully distilled, filtered and purified to create the high-grade bioethanol fuel used in Le Feu fireplaces.

Every step of bioethanol production is designed to minimise waste. CO₂ produced during fermentation is reused in other industries, while remaining plant material becomes animal feed - ensuring a fully sustainable cycle. The result is a CO₂-neutral fuel that delivers beautiful, smokeless flames without harming the environment.
Safe & Efficient for Indoor and Outdoor Use
Only high-purity bioethanol (at least 95%) should be used in your Le Feu bio fireplace. This can be purchased online from reputable retailers. This ensures a clean burn with no soot or smoke, protecting both your fireplace and your home environment.
