Description
The Kartell Luce Floor Lamp by Ferruccio Laviani is a contemporary reinterpretation of the iconic overreach floor lamp. Defined by its elegantly slender arched stem and substantial weighted base, Luce delivers both sculptural presence and practical illumination - making it ideal as a statement floor lamp for dining tables, sofas, reading corners, or open-plan living spaces.
Echoing the timeless silhouette of the celebrated Flos Arco floor lamp, Luce offers the same architectural sweep and suspended light effect, but with Kartell’s signature modern refinement and lighter visual footprint. The arched design allows the light source to extend gracefully over a table or seating area without the need for ceiling suspension, providing flexible overhead lighting with a clean, uncluttered aesthetic.

Ferruccio Laviani
Ferruccio Laviani is an Italian designer born in 1960. After completing a degree in architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan in 1986, he worked at the Studio De Lucchi where he undertook projects for a diverse range of well-respected brands including Abet Laminati, Memphis and Polaroid.
Since 1991, Laviani has worked closely with Kartell and now designs exclusively for them, alongside some other world renowned designers including Antonio Citterio, Patricia Urquiola and Phillipe Starck. Some of his earliest designs he produced for Kartell such as the iconic Fly Pendant Light and the Bourgie Table Lamp are still best selling items worldwide, showing the timeless appeal and quality of this designer's work.
