Description
The Uchiwa Ottoman designed by Doshi Levien for Hay is the perfect partner to the Uchiwa Lounge Chair and Uchiwa Quilt LoungeChair . The Uchiwa range takes its design inspiration from the Japanese hand fan. Capacious and inviting, Uchiwa has a hard plastic shell with an upholstered seat and natural or stained oak legs - suitable for domestic and the more demanding contract. It comes in a large range of fabric options.

Doshi Levien is a London based design office, established in 2000 by Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien. Doshi Levien's work celebrates the hybrid and explores the coming together of cultures, technology, storytelling, industrial design and fine craftsmanship. Their Uchiwa Lounge Chair for Danish furniture & lighting supplier HAY is a capacious and inviting lounge chair that takes inspiration from a Japanese hand fan. Ths has recently been added to with the extensive Hay Qulton Sofa collection.
