HAY About A Chair AAC 226 2.0 - Upholstered Front
The HAY AAC 226 2.0 Chair with upholstered front is part of the highly versatile HAY About A Range that spans from lounge chairs to stools. This particular chair features a shell made from post-consumer recycled plastic that sits atop a steel tube base. The chair is available in an extensive range of colours for the shell and fabrics for the seat, as well as offering a choice of metal finishes for the legs, allowing you to create the perfect chair for your interior.

Note: The shells consist of 100% recycled post-consumer plastic from household machines. The use of recycled material means that colours vary slightly from batch to batch. Marks and irregularities on the surface are a natural part of the material and may occur.

Description
The About a Chair series from HAY and designer Hee Welling combines post-consumer recycled polypropylene shells with different bases. The AAC 226 2.0 is the armchair from the collection and features a tubular metal leg base in various finishes. Both seat shell and fabric upholstery options can be chosen to suit too.
Optional felt glides which can be fitted under each leg for a strong and even grip, ensuring that your hard floors are protected. The 2.0 version of this chair is a variant of the original AAC 26 which has a more pronounced drop in the arms - making it easier to tuck under a dining table.

Hee Welling
Danish designer Hee Welling graduated as a designer from the Danish Design School in Copenhagen in 2003, specialising in product and furniture design. His designs are deeply rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition, evident in Welling's simple, functional and refined designs.
