HAY AAC 223 - Full Upholstery
Part of the versatile HAY About A range, the AAC 223 fuses the natural elegance and classic expression of a four-legged wooden base with the softness of its upholstered shell. Retaining the fundamental idea shared by the AAC collection, this model is characterised by a curved shell with a slightly higher back. The AAC223 works perfectly as a dining chair or side chair.

Shell: Solid-coloured polypropylene shell with armrest made from 100% post-consumer recycled PP.
Full upholstery: 20 mm foam.
Base: Moulded plywood base. Inner plywood in beech, top veneer in oak or walnut. - Dimensions : H: 82cm; W: 59cm; D: 54cm

Description
Designed by Hee Welling, the AAC223 chair has a wooden base and a fully upholstered seat. This highly versatile design looks right at home in a range of settings, from dining rooms to office spaces. Designed with optimal functionality in mind, the shell construction offers a deep, generous seat that combines inviting aesthetics with a high level of comfort, whilst the lower armrests provide good support and enable the chair to fit underneath a table or desk. Make it your own with the wide selection of fabric upholstery and base options available.

Hee Welling
Danish designer Hee Welling graduated as a designer from the Danish Design School in Copenhagen in 2003, specialising in product and furniture design. His designs are deeply rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition, evident in Welling's simple, functional and refined designs.
