GUBI T877 Side Table
Designed by Pierre Paulin in 1970 as a companion to the F300 lounge chair, the T877 shares the same fluid, edge-free form in a compact side table. Moulded in a single piece from HiREK® — a lightweight, UV-resistant polymer made from recycled industrial plastic — it works indoors and out, alone or grouped.

Description
Pierre Paulin designed the T877 in 1970 as a deliberate companion to the F300 lounge chair — an object that extended the chair's visual language rather than simply sitting near it. Where most side tables compromise between form and portability, the T877 does neither. At 1.9 kg, it can be picked up and moved without thought, and its continuous, edge-free profile holds the same sculptural coherence from every angle.
GUBI's reissue stays faithful to Paulin's original intent while updating the material. The T877 is moulded in a single piece from HiREK® — an Italian-engineered polymer made from recycled industrial plastic waste. It's 100% recyclable, resistant to UV radiation and weather, and light enough to move between a living room and a terrace without the table becoming a project. The moulding process — using bespoke tooling developed specifically for this reissue — is what allows the form to remain as fluid as Paulin intended.
The T877 works as a standalone piece, but grouping two or three creates a low surface composition that suits the kind of living room built around the F300.
