Gubi Keen Shelving System – Model 62120
The Keen Shelving System – Model 62120 is a freestanding shelving unit standing 198cm tall, with four open shelves and an enclosed box shelf across a 160cm width. Designed by Linda Korndal for GUBI, the rod-and-bracket frame comes in satin-polished stainless steel or black brass, with shelf surfaces in FSC®-certified brown/black ash veneer or ALPI Sottsass Grey veneer. A modular structure means it can expand vertically or horizontally as your space and needs change.

Description
The spaces you give over to books, objects and the things you've collected say something about how you live. The Keen Shelving System – Model 62120 is designed to hold all of that without reducing it to storage.
At 198cm tall and 160cm wide, it's a substantial presence — four open shelves and an enclosed box shelf across a frame that manages to feel architectural and considered rather than simply functional. Linda Korndal's design for GUBI gives the system a character that most shelving doesn't have: oversized feet that lift the frame visually from the floor, soft arches at the top that make it look complete rather than assembled. The rod-and-bracket structure means it can expand over time — vertically or horizontally — but in this configuration it doesn't look like it's waiting to become something else. It looks finished.
The frame comes in satin-polished stainless steel or black brass. Shelves in FSC®-certified brown/black ash veneer, or ALPI Sottsass Grey — a GUBI-exclusive veneer with a swirling, fabric-like grain that shifts with the light in a way flat-finish materials don't.
