Description
Showcasing masterful craftsmanship, the Gubi 1972 Pendant Light was designed under the artistic vision of industrial designer Paavo Tynell. A spectacular piece that effortlessly combines the rustic charm of bamboo with the luxurious feel of Tynell's signature brass detailing. The conical shade is made from bamboo slats, which are hand-sewn and fastened to a linen liner on a wire frame. This shade directs most of the light downwards while allowing slivers of illumination to peek through the bamboo slats.
The 60cm diameter version of the 1972 Pendant is available with an optional height-adjustable cord, controlled by an elegant brass counterweight. This model is ideal for controlling the light above a dining table.
