Originally designed for the dining area of Poul Kjærholm's own home, the PK111 Room Divider is designed with precision to balance intimacy and openness. Helping to create zones with an open-plan space, this 140cm screen creates a sense of enclosure when seated while preserving openness and visual continuity when standing.

Description
The Fritz Hansen PK111 Room Divider by Poul Kjærholm is a sculptural expression of modern spatial design, created to bring structure and calm to open-plan interiors without sacrificing light or flow.
Originally designed in 1956 for Kjærholm’s own home, the PK111 reflects his signature approach to proportion, material honesty and architectural clarity. Its six-panel, free-standing form can be arranged in multiple configurations, allowing you to subtly divide a room or create more intimate zones within larger living spaces.
Crafted from pressure-moulded laminated veneer with a beech core and finished in rich Oregon Pine, the divider combines natural warmth with precise engineering. The rhythmic folded structure creates shifting light and shadow throughout the day, giving the piece a dynamic sculptural presence from every angle.
At 140 cm high, the PK111 is carefully proportioned to maintain openness when standing while offering privacy when seated - making it ideal for dining areas, living rooms, workspaces or boutique interiors.
