Description
Perched on a Mallorcan clifftop overlooking the Mediterranean, Can Lis is the Balearic home of late Danish architect Jørn Utzon, built in 1972. A fusion of two cultures, this breathtaking home blends Scandinavian sensibilities with Mallorcan influences. With an abundance of local stones, wood and tiles, Can Lis embodies a humble, honest aesthetic.
Drawing inspiration from the millwork and joinery at Can Lis, the Ferm Living Sala Piece embodies a balance between rustic charm and refined simplicity. Crafted from FSC-certified Douglas fir, the Sala Piece is a highly versatile design that can be used throughout the home as a side table, display plinth, or stool. Its pillar-like base gives the design a bold architectural form, whilst its checkerboard top creates a contemporary look and highlights the beauty of the wood grain.
