Ferm Living

Ferm Living is a Danish design house, founded by Trine Andersen and run from Copenhagen since 2006. It began with wallpaper: unable to find a pattern she liked for her own home, Andersen designed her own and showed the first collection at a Danish trade fair, and the brand grew from there into a full range of furniture, lighting, textiles, and homeware now sold in more than 70 countries. The name comes from a phrase her grandmother used, 'ferm på fingrene', meaning skilled or capable hands, and that graphic, hands-on sensibility still runs through the collection in its muted palettes, rounded forms, and tactile materials.
