The Eos Sun Lounger combines refined design with practical outdoor comfort, offering the perfect place to unwind in the garden or by the pool. Created by renowned British designer Matthew Hilton for Case Furniture, the lounger forms part of the sophisticated Eos outdoor furniture collection, known for its lightweight aesthetic, crisp lines, and carefully balanced proportions.
Designed with relaxation in mind, the lounger features a sleek, minimalist profile that complements both modern and classic outdoor settings. Its elegant silhouette ensures it integrates effortlessly into a wide range of spaces, from compact terraces and balconies to larger garden or poolside arrangements.
The frame is constructed from powder-coated aluminium, a robust yet lightweight material chosen for its ability to withstand outdoor conditions. Resistant to rust, moisture, and temperature changes, the aluminium structure ensures long-lasting performance while remaining easy to maintain.
The reclining surface is made from UV-resistant Textilene® fabric, a durable material designed to retain its strength and colour even with prolonged exposure to sunlight. This breathable fabric offers supportive comfort while maintaining a clean, contemporary appearance.
Practical details enhance the lounger’s usability, including discreet rear wheels and protective floor glides that allow it to be moved effortlessly around outdoor spaces. This thoughtful design makes it easy to reposition the lounger to follow the sun or create a relaxing seating arrangement.

Matthew Hilton
After graduating from Kingston University in 1984 with a degree in Furniture and 3D Design, Hilton quickly established himself as a leading voice in modern British furniture. His work is known for its clarity of form, carefully considered proportions, and exceptional attention to detail, resulting in furniture that feels both timeless and highly functional.
Throughout his career, Hilton has collaborated with many of the world’s leading furniture brands, including De La Espada, Case Furniture, and SCP. His designs often explore the relationship between traditional craftsmanship and modern production techniques, producing pieces that are durable, comfortable, and visually refined.
Hilton’s work has received numerous industry honours, including recognition from the Furniture Makers' Company, reflecting his lasting contribution to contemporary furniture design.
