Carl Hansen & Son PK1 Dining Chair
Originally designed in 1955 the PK1 has since been relaunched in natural and durable FSC-certified paper cord by Carl Hansen & Son. This impressive handwoven dining chair has a choice of frame options and will be sure to make a statement around the dining table.

Description
Originally designed in 1955 by Poul Kjærholm, the PK1 was his first dining chair, which was the start of a very impressive career. Originally weaved in peddig pipe, the PK1 has since been relaunched by Carl Hansen & Son in a durable FSC-certified paper cord weave that will beautifully patina over time. The relaunch combines Kjærholm's unique knowledge of steel and Carl Hansen & Son's 70 years of experience with woven paper cord. The PK1 alone takes skilled craftsmen 15 hours and 180 metres of paper cord to weave the seat, due to its complicated technique that honours Kjærholm's original work with peddig pipe.
