The Carl Hansen SH900 Extend Dining Table is a table that represents the new age of Scandinavian design. A highly functional table with a minimalist composition, the SH900 has an innovative fold-out system that houses the built-in extension leaves. Description
The Carl Hansen SH900 Extend Dining Table, designed by Christina Strand & Niels Hvass for Carl Hansen, is made from solid oak with strong and simple lines. Its strongest feature is its hidden built in extension mechanism which accommodates fold out black extension leaves. Simply pull on the the expanding area and it will reveal additional seating space for an extra four guests.
Returned to its original state, this unique table skilfully conceals its internal features through a solid oak tabletop of soaped or oiled oak.
The honey comb extension leaves are included.
***FINISHES***
Soap - The closest to raw wood; grain and structure are visible; light in colour.
Oil- Grain and structure are visible; lighter than soap; creates lustre and brings out contrast in grain and structure. Darkens over time to a rich patina.
