Ole Wanscher (1903–1985) was a leading figure in Danish modern design and one of the most influential furniture architects of the 20th century. Known for his refined, timeless creations, Wanscher's work seamlessly blended classic design principles with the clean lines and functional elegance that define Scandinavian modernism.

A student of renowned designer Kaare Klint at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Wanscher developed a deep respect for traditional craftsmanship, historical furniture forms, and structural clarity.
