Description
The &Tradition Flowerpot Table Lamp VP4, designed in 1968 by design by Verner Panton is from a series of lights that became synonymous with the Flower Power movement from the late 1960s. Reflecting a clear break from convention to embrace a more open, modern mindset that promoted peace and harmony. Verner Panton was one of the most forward-thinking designers of his time and the Flowerpot series consists of several different models, including three pendants and two table lamps - all in a wide range of colours. The VP4 is the lower of the table lamp designs and comes in a choice of finishes.

Verner Panton
Architect and designer Verner Panton started out as an assistant to Arne Jacobsen. His eccentricity earned him a reputation as Denmark's most controversial designer. He also earned a reputation for lighting with an instinct for creating atmosphere. Here we feature some of his most iconic designs for Vitra including the iconic Panton Chair.
