The Vitra Map Table by Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby is a universal range of tables for any situation - be it in a home or contract situation. With a discreet, functional design Map can be combined with others to form longer tables or islands or taken apart and stacked as necessary.
The vertical legs are constructed from tubular steel and fastened to the top with fan shaped, die cast plate. This ostensibly simple technical solution not only reinforces the table top but also enables a range of leg positions. Switching a few screws enables tables to be assembled in a range of different configurations - fitted flush together or linked to form rows A plastic glide allows adjustment without tools, ensuring the tops remain level.
With bases in basic dark (black) or chromed and tops in soft light (with a dark ABS edge), light oak veneer or dark oak veneer Map can be adapted to suit your requirements.
