The Swedese Nova Chair, designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune, is an easy arm chair with a distinctively modern yet classic form.
The deep seat and high sculptured armrests propose an alluring and striking profile which accentuates comfort. For maximum relaxation the elevated back support is packed with high resilience foam and nozag springs which cushion the lower and upper back. Puckered detailing, back seat dots and precisely placed seams add attractive detailing, with every contour designed to suitably hold and embrace the body, contributing to its bold character.
The simple treatment of the legs act to soften the confident presence of the cushioned body and are available in either wood or brushed aluminum.
Nova can be upholstered in a range of fabric options, each with an extensive range of colours available:
Remix2 - Remix2 is a woollen upholstery fabric made from melange yarns, with each thread consisting of three different colours, resulting in irregular colours playing across the surface.
Hallingdal - 70% new wool & 30% viscose, with great durability. The range consists of either a one-colour or two-colour mix creating a wide selection.
Steelcut Trio - 90% new wool & 10% nylon. Three contrasting yarns in each colourway create an extensive tonal range. Rich in texture and very hard wearing.
Divina Melange - A textured material, full of depth and richness from the subtle mix of a complementary hue.
Tweed - Made from 100% New wool, it offers a classic yet understated finish. Its composition makes it excellent for domestic use due to its hard wearing properties.
Elmosoft Leather - Originating from Scandinavian cattle, this is a soft and pliable Semi-Aniline leather with a refined grain. Providing outstanding comfort combined with excellent durability, this leather is perfect for both home and contract use. Some visible insect-bites and scars from healed wounds, add to the elegant quality of the leather.
