Description

With the Hal RE Tube Chair from Vitra, Jasper Morrison has created a reinterpretation of the multifunctional shell chair and a varied chair range with a distinctly contemporary appearance. The shape of Hal's shell ensures plenty of freedom of movement and the slightly flexible plastic material makes many different sitting positions possible, as well as sideways and astride the chair. As a result, Hal facilitates dynamic, ergonomic seating.

The recycling material for HAL RE stems from Germany's 'Yellow Bag' (Gelber Sack) collection of household waste, which primarily consists of used packaging. Utilising this recycled material instead of conventional plastic generates fewer climate-damaging emissions and also significantly reduces energy consumption.

Due to the composition of the recycled material, the different colours are interspersed with tiny specks of pigment. The colour white cannot be implemented in the new material at the moment and will follow as soon as technically feasible. The HAL RE seat shell can also be 100% recycled at the end of the product's life.

This version can be stacked up to 6 chairs on the floor, and 15 chairs if used with the stacking trolley.
