Fritz Hansen Series 7 Stool
The Fritz Hansen Series 7 Stool was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1955 to fit alongside his Series 7 Chairs. Made from beech veneer, the stool has a chromed four-leg base completed with a footrest. Ideal for use at a bar or countertop, the stool retains a modern expression.

Description
The Series 7 Stool by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen is the higher, counter top height version of the original Series 7 Chair, designed in 1955.
Suitable for just about any application the Series 7 Stool comes in many painted coloured options as well as a number of natural wood veneer finishes..
The slender shell is made up of 9 layers of beech veneer and has a chromed four leg base, with a footrest.
The Series 7 Stool always has impact and looks particularly good where colours have been mixed.

FINISHES:
Coloured Ash - Ash has a wide grain and this is fully visible through the colour finish.
Lacquered - Almost no surface texture with a uniform colour.
Natural - A natural wooden veneer with a clear lacquer where grain and texture and natural wood colour are clearly visible.

Arne Jacobsen
Arne Jacobsen was born in Copenhagen in 1902 and graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in architecture in 1927. He was prolific both as an architect and as a designer. He is most famous for designing the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, and for the interior, the Egg and Swan Chair together with the Swan Sofa and Series 3300 with Fritz Hansen. This propelled the Arne Jacobsen name into furniture history.
