The Pito kettle was designed for Alessi by Frank Gehry, in 1992, the great architect of Bilbao's Guggenheim Museum and LA's Philharmonic Hall. He draws a great deal of inspiration from acquatic forms and particularly the sea and, looking more like a sculpture than a kettle, Pito resembles two fish jumping over a wave. With a contrasting polished stainless steel body and mahogany handle and melodic whistle this kettle is already a design classic.

Breaking the boundaries of conventional kettle design Pito is part of the Alessi Officina collection which includes their most sophisticated, experimental and innovative products, as well as small-scale and limited productions.
