Scandiphone
£40.00
Scandiphone is the reincarnation of Ericafon - introduced in the mid 1950s - which challenged conventional telephone design. With its distinctive rounded contours and innovative design it anticipated much of the comfort and convenience offered by later generations of telephones.
Ericafon was also the first one piece telephone set where the body of the phone, dial and receiver were contained in one, lighter weight, hand held unit.
A push button version was introduced in 1967 and in 1973 the Ericafon was selected to be part of the New York Museum of Modern Art's permanent collection in recognition of its significance as a piece of good twentieth century design.
Scandiphone comes with a push button dial on the base, a redial feature, volume control, tone/pulse switch and plugs into any standard telephone socket.
Scandiphone is available in black, orange, red and white.
