This Wooden Hippo, designed by Kay Bojesen for Rosendahl, is a real crowd pleaser. Little stumpy legs, long rectangular body and watchful eyes are central to the hippo's appeal. Even with his mouth closed and two bottom front teeth hidden away, whichever way you view him, it always looks as though he is smiling.
