The Steelwood Coat Stand, as its eponymous name suggests, is made from two contrasting materials : steel and wood. Designed by Rowan & Erwan Bouroullec for Magis the Steelwood Coat Stand has a joints made from steel plate with legs in solid beech which is either natural or painted.

The juxtaposition of the two materials is accentuated with the visibility of the connection screws, reinforcing the design and construction honesty of the Steelwood design.

Crossing the boundaries between contemporary and classic the Steelwood Coat Stand is from a collection which lends itself to both styles if interiors, or a fusion of both.
