L'Oiseau is a decorative wooden bird designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Vitra. Made from natural maple L'Oiseau is the perfect decorative partner to the iconic Eames House Bird.

Natural themes have played a critical role in even the earliest known interiors and also reflected in the work of the Bouroullec brothers. It is with this in mind that they have created L'Oiseau, and which conjures up the clarity of the wooden objects of Nordic folk art.

Adding a sympathetic note to contemporary interiors L'Oiseau is a bird which is neither cutesy or kitsch - like most bird or animal figures!
