Designed by Jean Prouve in 1942 Tabouret Haut from Vitra is the embodiment of a traditional type of bar stool whereby the seat rests on top of canted legs. A connecting ring, which acts as a footrest, increases the rigidity of the construction.

Made from solid oak Tabouret Haut is available in a natural or dark lacquer finish, clearly showing the grain of the wood. In addition each color has two footrest colour options - cream or chrome for the natural stool and Japanese red or chrome for the dark oak stool.

A simple and unpretentious stool Tabouret Haut has a clear construction and harmonious proportions.
