The Soft Pad Chair from Vitra is from the Aluminium Group range designed by Charles & Ray Eames. Like its sister EA 119 Chair the Soft Pad has the same structure but with stitched nappa leather pads of upholstery, rendering it more comfortable and making for an interesting contrast to the slim aluminium profile of the frame.

The EA 219 features a frame in either chromed or polished aluminium and has armrests, is mounted on a five star castor base, has a gas height adjustable and reclining seat and a high seat back.

As with Aluminium Group Chairs the EA 217 comes with a thirty year Vitra guarantee.
