Vitra George Nelson Ceramic Clocks

This range of three Ceramic Clocks by George Nelson all possess an eye catching playful design with highly unusual shapes.

As table, desk or mantel clocks they each possess a geometric yet organic look which is evocative of sculptures by artists such as Constantin Brancusi or Isamu Noguchi.

Originally designed in the early 1950s these clocks were developed as far as the production stage but, for reasons unknown, never actually made it to the production line. Based on the original plans and prototypes, Vitra has now brought these wonderful designs into production.

Each clock is made of glazed ceramic and has a high quality quartz movement. There are three in the range - red, grey and white.
