This is Vitra's re-edition of the legendary Eames DSW Chair with a maple leg base. It is based on the original 1950 fibreglass design of the first industrially manufactured plastic chair.

In 1993 Vitra discontinued production of the DSW Chair for ecological reasons as fibreglass cannot be re-cycled. Thanks to recent advances in technology it is now produced in polypropylene.

The DSW Chair comes available in a range of mid century modern colours reflecting its heritage and the period when it was first launched.
