VITRA Eames Ottoman
This original Eames Ottoman from Vitra is one of the most famous design by Charles & Ray Eames and designed to sit alongside and be the perfect lounging partner to the Eames Lounge Chair.
Like the Lounge Chair the ottoman is constructed from a laminated wooden shell attached to a die-cast aluminium frame. Soft leather (nappa cowhide) upholstery provide the comfort.
The base is four star fixed in a variety of finishes. It can be in either chromed, polished aluminium or black with polished aluminium detail on the horizontal surfaces. The veneer is available in cherry, Santos Palisander (rosewood) or black pigmented walnut and the leather in either chocolate, brown or black depending on the wooden finish you choose.
Whilst there are a number of inferior copies available on the internet at a fraction of the price, often labelled as 'Eames inspired' true connosseurs will appreciate the quality of the original design - manufactured under licence from the Eames estate by Vitra.
The Eames Ottoman is a bespoke piece of furniture and will give many years of lounging pleasure.
