The Kartell Take Lamp, designed by Ferruccio Laviani, is an interpretation of the classic bedside lamp. It takes the silhouette of a pleated shade lamp and casts it in polycarbonate. The shape is comes from the joining of two symmetrical parts: two flat, rectangular and two dimensional plates which assume the shape and volume of a half lamp. The internal pleating embellishes it, creating a play of light when it's turned on.
