Verner Panton, (1926-1998), trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, and initially worked at Arne Jacobsen´s architectural practice. He established his own design office in 1955.
Panton is credited with the design of the very first single-form injection- moulded plastic chair: the Stacking Chair, designed in 1960. Some of Panton's other renowned chair designs include the Heart Chair, and the Cone Chair, designed in 1958 and 1959, respectively.
This business card case features his 'Circles' design in black on a polished metal case.
