The Sumpta Centrepiece from Alessi is a round, mirror polished stainless steel bowl designed by Catalan architect Lluis Clotet. Using his 'strategy of deformation' Clotet has used a 'crumpled' paper effect and applied it to a range of tableware and dishes. The contrast of delicate crumpled paper to the solidity of the polished stainless steel works to stunning effect.
This gorgeous centrepiece, like a pool of mercury, makes a striking addition to any table.
