Could the Electric It. Espresso Maker be the new century version of the original 'teasmaid'? Designed by Dutch designer Wiel Arets it's a further development from his Coffee.it Espresso Maker design.

Made from polished 18/10 stainless steel with a thermoplastic resin base the Electric Coffee.it also has the added bonus of digital timer so you can set the time you want your early morning coffee to be ready. There's also an automatic switch off facility and a sound signal to tell you when it's done.
