This highly tactile and sensual Alessi pepper mill was originally designed by Peter Zumthor for his own use. Made from a single piece of European wood it comes available in either maple or walnut.

Peter Zumthor is a Swiss designer and one of the most interesting and courted international architects of the 21st century. His main works include the Sogn Benedetg Chapel in Somvitg (1988), the thermal baths in Vals (1996), the Kunsthaus in Bregenz (1997) and the Swiss Pavilion at the Expo 2000 in Hanover.

These Alessi Pepper mills are part of the Alessi Officina collection which includes their most sophisticated, experimental and innovative products, as well as small-scale and limited productions.
