E15 Miwa Bench
This solid wooden bench from E15 was designed to go with the Marlene or Madame Lillie Tables.
Like the tables the Miwa has a 3cm top but this tapers towards the middle to allow for a comfortable sitting position, with a groove running down the centre to allow for movement. The top is mounted flush with the frame and legs.
The legs themselves are 6cm square and a dovetail joints are visible on the sides of the bench - alluding to the traditional construction method applied to join the two parts of the seat.
Available in solid European oiled oak or walnut Miwa comes in a number of different lengths, with a standard height of 47cm and seat depth of 40cm.
TIP : when buying the bench to go with the table, order the bench the same length as the table. This allows for comfortable sitting and the set looks much neater!
