The Spoleto Chair from Knoll was designed by their own design department in 1971 and is one of the few designs from the period to have reached 'classic' status.

Made from seamless tubular steel which has a polished chrome finish the Spoleto Chair is an original design characterized by its cantilevered design and belted leather seat and back which is clearly exposed 'corset' style on the reverse of the back of the chair.

The leather used on the Spoleto Chair is Spinneybeck Belting Leather and it comes in a wide variety of colours. The base has opaque glides which can be added optionally on site where the chair is to be used on a wooden floor.

This is an ideal chair where space is at a premium - its compact dimensions ensure it fits comfortably into tight spaces.
