Designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1930 this Knoll armchair has a frame made from flat polished chrome. Ingeniously, there are no visible connections between the seat and the frame as the seat element cantilevers over the base.

The seat itself is hardwood which is cushioned with variable density foam. A 'corset like' Dymetrol seat suspension also enhances comfort. It also comes with opaque plastic glides to protect floors.
