Kartell launched the Barbie Louis Ghost Chair this year in celebration of the eponymous doll's 50th Birthday.
The original Louis Ghost Chair really is baroque revisited, created by Philippe Starck for Kartell in 2003.
In its short life Louis Ghost has become one of the first design classics of the 21st century - and rightly so. Fitting, then, that it has been coupled with one of the most enduring toy designs of the twentieth century to create this limited edition Barbie piece.
A must have for all Barbie fans and limited edition collectors the transparent pink Louis XV style armchair, coupled with Barbie's image, would add elegance and irony to any interior or exterior.
The Louis Ghost Chair has been a huge worldwide success for Kartell - so much so, in fact, that in 2008 Louis was joined by the baby Lou Lou Ghost chair, a miniature Louis for children/decorative use.
