The Bettina range was designed by world renowned architecture practice Future Systems for Alessi.
This set of four white porcelain mugs is the largest of the cups in the range. Each has stem handle and an ergonomic, organic shape which allows it to be cradled in the hand. The flow of the rim, which isn't flat, also follows the line of the fingers as the mug is held.
The handle element allows the mug to be steadied by resting between the thumb and the index finger.
A challenge to the traditional tea or coffee mug by Future Systems and Alessi this will appeal to those who appreciate practicality married with good, contemporary design.
