Archimoon Soft Table Lamp from Flos is a desk or table light designed by Philippe Starck and represents a further development in his Romeo range - this time lent to task lighting.

The shade is made from pleated plisse cloth with an internal acid etched borosilicate glass diffuser. The frame is made of aluminium with steel tie rods and springs for positioning. The base is lead weighted die cast zamak and the whole frame is painted grey. The on/off switch is located on the adjustable head.

The practical nature of this lamp with its soft cloth shade make it a perfect lamp for use in a home office or study where an altogether softer look is required to the usual harshness of desk/task lamps.
