VITRA Eames DSX Plastic Chair
This Eames Plastic Side Chair from Vitra is a contemporary version of the legendary fibre glass chair. It was produced in collaboration with Zenith Plastics for the Museum of Modern Art in New York's Low-Cost Furniture Design Competition and was the first industrially manufactured plastic chair.
Whilst the Eames Plastic Chair range is available in a number of variations this DSX (or Dining Height Side Chair X-Base, to give it its full title) has the standard four leg formation. These are available with either a powder coated or chrome finish. The chair shell itself is available in a new range of mid century modern colours to reflect the chair's heritage.
Colours in order below are : red, cream, white, basic dark, mauve grey, ocean, stone white and mustard.
