Stefano Giovannoni
STEFANO GIOVANNONI was born in La Spezia in 1954 and is both and accomplished architect and designer.His explosive talent, able to embody the complex system of "affective codes" in his projects, has won him the title of best "Super & Popular" designer of the year in 2000.
His colourful and fun projects for Alessi - 'Family Follows Fiction' - and Magis include a large range of plastic household items – from the Magic Bunny to the Ship Shape butter dish, contrasted with his range of sleek electrical items including kitchen and bathroom scales, a toaster and hand held vacuum cleaner.
GIOVANNONI is also one half of ‘King Kong’ – the design duo responsible for the Alessi Girotondo collection.
