Piero Lissoni
PIERO LISSONI WAS born in Seregno, Brianza, in 1956. He graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic in Milan in 1985 and the following year he set up the LISSONI Studio in Milan. His creations are marked by their stark minimalism and strict simplicity of form which he promotes in all the design, architectural and corporate image projects he has carried out for the major companies of Italian design.
Since the early 1990s he has been one of the most sought after furniture designers in Italy. In addition to furniture and architecture his commissions also include corporate identity and public relations - an all round approach which has contributed to his huge success. His teams includes thirty designers working for such Italian greats as Artemide, Boffi, Cappellini, Cassina, Kartell, Living Divani, Moroso and Porro.
