La Palma
Founded near Padua in 1978 by Dario and Romano Marcato La Palma creates furniture with functional proportions using high quality materials and finishes. Natural and clear materials predominate in the collection including wood from sustainable plantations, glass, leather, metal and wickerwork.
The La Palma style is best descibed as calm, understated and almost modest. It has become noted for its large range and diversity of its seating collection where most pieces possess purity of form - many being angular - created using the minimal of material.
Unusually for an Italian furniture company la Palma isn't based in Milan but it enjoys an independent profile, creating furniture which is light and charming. It comes as no surprise that many of its product have been awarded prizes.
