E15
E15 was founded in London by architect Philipp Mainzer and product designer Florian Asche. They named the company E15 after the postal code of their first workshop, located in London's east end. To ensure quality and better service the production was moved to the current location near Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
Specially selected timbers are used from managed forestry plantations and are chosen for their distinctive age markings and warm colour. The wood is air seasoned and kiln dried very carefully and to ensure the highest quality, the moisture level is permanently checked during delivery and storage. Every piece of furniture is assembled by hand and polished with oil in order to protect the surface and to emphasize the beauty of colour and grain.
The key materials used in E15 furniture - solid European wood, stainless steel, aluminium and leather are selected for their beauty, strength and durability in mind. The feel and appearance of the material influence design of each product. The shape of each design is modern, whilst the craftsmanship used in creating them is traditional.
Designed and built to endure, the pieces are assured, refined and uncomplicated, allowing the natural beauty to be appreciated in its most elegant form.
