ACME STUDIO - THE BEATLES COLLECTION

This year sees the launch of an exciting project between Acme Studio and Apple. Called simply 'The Beatles Collection' this consists of a series of limited edition pens and business card cases to commemorate the achievements of arguably the world's greatest band, in celebration of the forthcoming 50th Anniversary of their formation

As one of the UK's leading Acme stockists, and with our own home in Liverpool, Utility has been selected as the UK stockists of this exclusive collection.

Year Pens

There will be 9 limited edition roller ball sets, one for each year The Beatles were together (1962-1970). The edition size of each pen will be the same as the year and each pen comes in a black presentation box. Two of each pen designs will be launched every six months from May/June this year, starting with 1962 and 1963.

PRICE: £89.99.

Album Sets

There will also be 13 limited edition roller ball sets and business card cases, one for each album The Beatles recorded. The edition size is 600 and each set will be packaged in mini album covers. Three of each 'album set' will be issued every six months, starting with "Please Please Me", "With The Beatles" and "A Hard Day's Night".

These will be released on May/June this year.

Invasion

"The Invasion" is a limited edition pen with interchangeable rollerball and fountain pen inserts. The edition size is 1000 pens and each comes in a black presentation box.

A release date has yet to be set.

4 Pen Set

Finally, there will be a limited edition 4 Pen Set, one for George, Paul, John and Ringo. Each is supplied with an interchangeable roller ball, ball point, highlighter and fountain pen inserts. The set comes in a black presentation box.

Due for release in May/June 2011 this has an edition size of 1000.

PRICE : £399.00.

As much of the collection has already been ordered from Acme worldwide, we are expecting these editions to be hugely oversubscribed. We are therefore taking registrations of interest. In the first instance please email your interest to :info@utilitydesign.co.uk. When mailing please confirm which items you are interested in ie: Year Pen, Album Set, Invasion or 4 Pen set.

We will then keep you posted as and when the pens are released. These will be sold on a first come/first served basis. However, customers requiring the whole collection will be given priority.
