DOROTHEE BECKER
Dorothee Beckerwas born 1938 in Aschaffenburg, Germany. After spending some time in London and Paris, she moved to California in 1960. On her return to Germany, she set up and ran a successful shop for well-designed and practical everyday objects. Becker has continued her creative activities to the present day. Her most famous design is the Uten.silo Storage Unit for Vitra.
