FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT

FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT

Born in Wisconsin, USA, in 1867, Frank Lloyd Wright grew up to be America’s greatest and most innovative Architect. He was a heavy promoter of organic architecture and a leader of the Prairie School Movement. His legacy is one of America’s foremost cultural treasures. Some of his most iconic buildings include New York's Guggenheim Museum, Falling Water in Pennsylvania and the Johnson Wax Headquarters, Racine, Wisconsin. He also designed furniture for many of his projects, including the famous Barell Chair in 1904 for the D.D. Martin House in Buffalo.

We feature some of his designs incorporated into the work of Vitra Design Museum Miniatures.
